Firstly, yoga not only makes you feel better but also reduces stress and anxiety. It is a very accessible way to look after your body and mind and is suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Yoga is a gentle, safe and effective way to increase your physical activity. It especially strengthens your muscles, improves your flexibility and trains you in mindfulness. There is extensive evidence that regular practice of yoga is also beneficial for your blood pressure, reduces aches and pains including lower-back pain, relieves anxiety, and helps with mild depression and stress.
I am a passionate yoga instructor with many hundreds of hours of teaching experience and qualified with a Diploma (Distinction) and advanced Hatha yoga teaching (Distinction) as a Yoga Teacher from the British School of Yoga (BSY).
I aim to deliver my classes safely and effectively, whether in person or remotely. I keep everyone’s varying abilities in mind, by delivering both modifications and progressions of the Asanas (yoga poses) to suit all needs. My classes are typically designed and structured for beginners and people who have been doing yoga for a while but are looking to come back to refresh their basics and progress to more intermediate levels.
